The beach of Prora
Little paradise between BINZ and Mukran
It stretches between the Baltic Sea resort of BINZ and Mukran 6 Km long fine sand beach. This beautiful white sandy beach with shallow surf and slightly widening Bay is shielded by a dune with pine. He offers ideal swimming conditions for families with children. Here too the water annually with the “Blue flag” awarded.
The beach at “KdF”
Already during the Third Reich and the time of construction of the recreation home “Strength through joy” was this beach very popular. Today the quay wall of the huge ship investor divides the beach in a North- and a southern part. Currently, more blocks are of the 4,5 km of long building renovation. Some shops and restaurants have set up already.

Parking
Numerous signposted parking can be found along the Prorer Wiek, from where you can reach quickly to the beach. The beach is characterized by the DLRG partially guarded and you can also find several beach stalls and toilets. In terms of sports, various volleyball fields curl, Surf options, Banana riding and Reifentubing.

The north part of the beach
Behind the quay wall of the ship investor begins the North Beach of Prora. This beach has no beach chairs, yet any sports or a security. Here you can wonderfully relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. The youth hostel's cafeteria offers snacks and ice cream. Also a mobile ice cream vendor on the beach in summer is on the way.
