Dat söte Lännecken: Tips for trips to the sister island of Rügen
Hiddensee is the fine neighbouring islet to the West of Rügen. A day trip very worthwhile. Especially in autumn or in spring, is the car-free island very popular. Parking in Schaprode
At the entrance of Schaprode, turn left towards port and then automatically reach a paid parking lot area. The day card costs 4 Euro in der Saison 2022. From there, it runs about. 10 Minutes to the Harbour, past houses and gardens.

Lighthouse Dornbusch
From the port of monastery is advisable a 2 kilometres long walk to the landmark of the island. This beacon is located in the Bush, the hills in the northern part of the island. Hike to Vitte

Arrived in Vitte expect many restaurants with mostly regional cuisine. Fish and co. are here. The prices are civil, tasty food. Finally still a sundae or a domestic Sea buckthorn juice, before going back on the ferry. They will now start from the harbor in Vitte.
